The leadership in the common wage arena has been excellent
in 2012—both from staff and members—but I think we can
do even better! Greg Turner (RLTurner) has agreed to take
over as Chairman for the Common Wage Task Force in 2013,
and he already has some great ideas to increase training for
new volunteers. Also, I would like to specifically send out a
big THANK YOU to Felisha Minnich for all of her hard work
and efforts in this area, and for staying on top of scheduling
of all the wage hearings on a weekly basis—it’s not an easy
task!—and she does a great job.
Remember: getting involved
and engaged with this committee will impact taxpayers all
over the state of Indiana and increase bidding opportunities
for Merit Shop contractors!
My fellow ABC members, 2013 is the year for

, so I wanted to be sure to mention our current
