Welcome to La Verne! As our Mayor,
it is my genuine pleasure to welcome
you to our beautiful City. My family has
lived in La Verne for many generations,
from the community’s beginnings, and
I’ve owned my local business here in
La Verne for many years. And it gives
me great joy to welcome you to this
very special place – La Verne.
You might appreciate knowing that
Family Circle
magazine recently
identified La Verne as “one of the best
towns in America to raise a family.”
We’re justifiably proud of that, but it
comes as no surprise to the people
who live and work here!
LaVerne prides itself onbeing one of the
very safest communities in California,
largely in part to our outstanding local
Police and Fire departments. And
our schools are among the highest in
caliber and recognition, ranging from
top-notch public and private schools,
to the nationally recognized University
of La Verne.
While in La Verne, I really encourage
you to Shop La Verne. When you do,
you support your local businesses,
local jobs, services, and the revenues
and sales taxes stay here to work in
La Verne. That translates into a strong,
self-sufficient community and one that
