A
BYC kicked off their online member management system
Your Membership
in December 2012. It’s been a year
and while you have navigated our online membership
directory, clicked our scrolling news feed and registered for classes
in fewer clicks, there are still a lot of areas to explore.
In this edition of
It’s all about
your membership!,
we point you to
our
online membership profile
. Why should you complete this
profile? It helps ensure we have the most accurate information for
you and your company; ABYC refers customers to you based on
your specialty; colleagues can connect with you and you can learn
from each other;
and most importantly, it shows the general
consumer that you care about Boating Safety Built In because
you promote yourself as an ABYC member.
Let’s take a look at Suenos Azules Marine Surveying and Consulting.
John with Suenos has done a great job updating his profile online,
including his logo, website, certifications and much more!
Without a doubt, a consumer can find John as an ABYC Member
in the Member Directory because he properly completed his profile.
And he can also be found as an ABYC Certified Technician in the
search for a certified tech
on the ABYC homepage.
Not only has John done a great job including direct contact
information, but has included photos that represent his side of the
industry and has included the ABYC logo on his website.
We constantly try to survey our new and existing members to learn
how ABYC can help promote you and we want to hear directly
from you about what you need to promote your business!
