Water System of the Year 2012
S
ince Pinetop Water Manager Dave Burke’s arrival in April
of 1994, Pinetop CFD has been aggressively working
towards reducing the systems water loss and improving
metering while trying to decrease labor costs. The system had
a feasibility study of the entire water system advancing to new
technology that’s available to us all. A radio read system added
automation to the wells along with tank level indicators, power

With the feasibility study and concentrating on the needs of
the district, the water district came up with a combination of
in house funds and WIFA funds to do the project. Rural Water
Association of Arizona congratulates Pinetop CFD.
