Bay State Builder: Vol.1 Qtr.2 - page 4

Dear Member,
At the International Builder Show in February, I attended the NAHB Board of
Directors meeting where I was installed as your 2014 MA state representative, giving
Massachusetts a voice that I’m not afraid to use. We have a great presence from
the North East with New Hampshire’s Paul Sullivan now chairing the Remodelers
Council, Ted Mahoney (BRAGB) the Area One representative to NAHB, Andy Crane
our incoming HBRAMA president (HBRAWM) board member, Andrew Chabin
(NEBRA) and Joe Antonelli (BRAGB) handling our PAC as well as many other issues
affecting our industry.
As we increase our membership here at home, a side benefit to all of us on the
national level is we gain seats at the board of directors table. It’s been a pleasure
to me, as one who has been sitting on the NAHB board, seeing our participation
growing. It is certainly a commitment to be there, but the rewards personally and to
our industry are too numerous to list. I encourage you to get involved! I assure you
it’s worth it.
Respectfully,
Lawrence Kady
HBRAMA President

We are gaining strength and as you
heard in the state of the union address,
“housing is a critical piece in the
nation’s economic recovery.”
