number of continuing education credits each two year renewal
period based upon license category.

Unrestricted Construction
Supervisors License: 12 Hours
Restricted Supervisors License
(One and Two Family Dwelling):10 Hours
Specialty Construction
Supervisors License: 6 Hours

• Demolition
• Burning Fuel
• Insulation
WHAT CATEGORIES?
Of the required hours, there are five
mandatory topics, with a minimum of one
hour required in each:
1. Code Review
2. Workplace Safety
3. Business Practices/Workers Comp
4. Energy (except Demolition
Specialty License)
5. Lead-Safe Practices
(only first renewal cycle)
6. Electives (7credits for Unrestricted;
5 for Restricted; and 1 for Specialty)

*To earn the required credits (CEUs), licensees must take courses that have been pre-approved by the state. The
BBRS deems that approved courses must “impart appropriate and related knowledge in the regulated industries.”
Students must attend classes in their entirety in order to receive the approved credits.
