W
hile attending the Rural Water Rally in Washington DC, I witnessed members and staff taking time out of
their busy schedules to represent our industry and association. I am always proud to be associated with
NCRWA, but I returned from Washington DC extremely proud after spending time and working with other
members and staff.
As winter comes to a close and spring approaches, I start thinking about our annual conference; it’s just
around the corner. After attending the conference for a number of years, I still look forward to attending.
There is so much to be gained from the conference. Personally, I cherish forming new friendships and having
time to renew old ones. This is the one time a year that I get to see and spend time with some of my friends;
kind of like a family reunion!
After conference, we will all start getting geared up for our peak season. Remember that NCRWA is always
prepared and willing to assist with your training and technical assistance needs. Years ago, one would say
that we are only a phone call way, but now there are so many ways to contact us. NCRWA doesn’t have a
preference, just contact us if we can be of any assistance to you and your organization.
