PNVA MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY 2016-2017

Scholarship

The Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association is

pleased to offer up to $5,000 in scholarships

with the scholarship being renewable for an

additional year pursuant to PNVA guidelines.

The PNVA will give preference in the following

order - 1) Members of the PNVA (and family)

in agriculture, 2) Non-members in agriculture,

and 3) Members in other fields.

Eligible applicants must be high school

graduates planning to attend an institution

of higher education (university, college, or

technical program), current undergraduates, or

graduate students.

Candidates interested in the scholarship

should fill out the application form, which

is available at

www.pnva.org/scholarship .

APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 30.

Candidates may be invited to an in-person

interview.

The scholarship committee and board of

directors of the Pacific Northwest Vegetable

Association will select the scholarship winners.

Announcement of the scholarship winners will

be made in June. The recipient will be asked

to report to the Pacific Northwest Vegetable

Association for at least one year after being

awarded the scholarship.

The Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association is the leading organization in the Pacific Northwest

promoting the interests of the vegetable industry.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association is dedicated to education, research, promotion

and the leadership of the vegetable industry in the Pacific Northwest. The PNVA is committed to facilitating and enhancing

communications between all segments of the vegetable industry, policy makers and consumers.

GOALS:

1. Provide quality educational programs to meet the needs of the vegetable industry.

2. Increase overall membership in the Association.

3. Initiate and support vegetable promotion programs.

4. Initiate and support vegetable research.

5. Provide leadership on federal, regional, state, international and local issues concerning the vegetable industry.
