ABC’S LEADERSHIP TEAM TAKES OFFICE
ABC of Metro Washington kicked off the new year on
January 14

when it installed its 2015 Board of Directors.

Chairman of the Board Jim Anglemyer outlined the
association’s plans for the year, which include a focus on
growing ABC’s membership base and outreach to public
schools to showcase the career opportunities available in
the construction industry.

AND CELEBRATES A TEAM MEMBER

(ABC) of MetroWashington’s XYZYoung
Professionals program exceeded the
standards established by ABC National
as a Chapter Best Practice Champion
and won a Chapter Award of Merit.
The award was presented on March

at the Workforce Development
Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
ABC of Metro Washington celebrated the 25
th
anniversary
of Kim Collins who has served as director of programs
since April 9, 1990. In recognition of her tenure with the
association, ABC presented Collins with a resort getaway.
