A graduate of the University of
Maryland with a B.S. degree in
plant sciences, Alexander brings
more than two years of outside
estimating
experience
to
the
company. Hildebrand has more than
12 years of industry experience, which
she will draw on to lead Ruppert’s key
strategic enterprise-wide software
projects. Spruill comes to the
company with more than 20 years’ experience in the IT and
management fields. He is responsible for the management
and development of the IT department, acting as the
liaison between that department and the business.
In efforts to further strengthen its commitment to serve
the community,
Shapiro & Duncan, Inc.
announced that
18 employees volunteered more than 288 hours to teach
financial literacy to students at Banneker Middle School in
Silver Spring, MD.
The company also promoted Brian Bobitka to HVAC service
sales representative and James Glass to project manager in
the special projects department.
WCS Construction, LLC
started the 95-unit modernization
of 7701-7611 Georgia Avenue in northwest Washington,
DC. Originally constructed in the 1930s, the two buildings
are being brought into the 21st century with Uniform
Federal
Accessibility
Standards
(UFAS)-designated
first-floor units, updated electrical and centralized heating
and air conditioning, as well as updated kitchens and
bathrooms. Modernization will follow the guidelines of
Green Communities with a projected completion date of
June 2016.
