BYC made a huge step towards “going green” when
we introduced YM (Your Membership) database
management and billing tools in January 2013. There
are some growing pains as we all become accustomed to its
notifications, reminders, and login requirements, but in the long
run paperless billing is smarter, faster & better.

• It saves you from buying stamps and writing checks
• View and download invoices, membership verification
documents, marketing materials including our logo in a variety
of colors and formats and our class schedules

• Receive email notifications beginning 45 days prior to when
your annual renewal is due
• Securely access your account information anywhere, anytime
• Simply log onto the website and find links to all of
your most frequently asked questions
• Click and pay your bill online in seconds by logging in
on behalf of your company
• Remember that your company ID is the one being renewed,
the individual IDs that are associated with that account will
automatically be renewed once the company’s membership
has been paid. Call the office if you aren’t sure how to login
on behalf of the company

In addition to the billing aspect, the benefits of our new website
and management system include a broad range of tools and
resources that you previously may not have known about.
The ‘Resources’ page has many offerings that are un-recognized
by many ABYC members. When you login and find yourself
on the ‘Members Only’ page you will see an option to Manage/
Renew membership. If you click there you will be taken to a
landing page that has an expanded toolbar at the top. It looks like

Among this list you can find logos, videos, useful links and photos
that you may wish to share on your website or business publications.
In the coming months we will share additional tools and
communication pathways that are supported by the website. In
the meantime, if you have any questions regarding utilization of
the website please don’t hesitate to call the office to speak to the
membership or marketing departments for step-by-step assistance
with your renewal and resource questions.
