How does it help the you and your community?
International Trade is the exchange of capital, goods, and services
across international borders or territories. Since today 80 percent of
the world’s buying power and more than 90 percent of the world’s
population is outside the United States, economic growth and jobs
for Mississippi increasingly depends on the global marketplace. We all
should think about what that means to each of us since it affects many
aspects of our daily lives. From agricultural and energy, to machinery
and mineral fuel, Mississippi businesses are taking advantage of
opportunities in the global marketplace.
Whatever industry you are in or town in Mississippi you call home,
