The tack coat went on drab green; it was
a lovely color, and if I had a choice, this
would have been the finish coat color. But
you guessed it, the finish coat was black.
The consultant had prescribed Black. He
said in effect, “Paint it Black”.
I bet you all will have that song lyric
playing over and over in your head,
“I wanna see it painted black,
painted black.
Black as night, black as coal,
(clean tar).”
