Tony Deblauwe, Senior HR Manager,
Hortonworks, Inc., is an accomplished Human
Resources professional and Workplace Coach.
He is the author of the award-winning book on
dealing with difficult bosses called, “Tangling
with Tyrants: Managing the Balance of Power
at Work.” His blog at

MoneyWatch and MSN. Tony holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and
Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.

Christine Pallatto has over 25+ years of human
resources experience, and is currently the
Director of Human Resources and Organizational
Development with the Global Fund for Women.
The Global Fund is the largest philanthropic
organization in the U.S. that makes international
grants in support of women’s rights. Her background in human resources includes
leadership positions in both the philanthropic and the for profit sectors, including
extensive experience in the financial services industry. In addition to her NCHRA
Governing Board membership, she is engaged with other boards and advisory
committees. Christine has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Counseling Psychol-
ogy from San Francisco State University, and also has a certificate of Executive
Education from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Eugene Dilan is a licensed psychologist, or-
ganizational development consultant and coach
with over 25 years of hands on experience devel-
oping leaders and values driven performance cul-
tures. He has worked internationally (including in
Europe, Iraq and Afghanistan) across all functions
and levels, including with C-Suite executives, and in a broad range of technology
sector industries including aerospace, biotech, defense, energy, IT, and social
media. Currently, he is the President of the Dilan Consulting Group, an organization
that supports companies of all sizes, from startups to enterprise, and their team has
a special knack for understanding engineering and science-based cultures. Eugene
recently served on the Division III board of the California Psychological Association,
he is also a member of SHRM, and the American Psychological Association.

In 2004, Nov Omana launched Collective HR
Solutions, Inc., a comprehensive resource in HR
Technology and Strategy consulting. The business
consists of HR Technology consulting, strategic
technology plan execution, system evaluation/
selection, and implementation services. He has
three decades of career experience in the HR
Technology arena, assisting numerous companies in
structuring their HR systems to address and solve their business challenges. He is also
known in the vendor community for “connecting the dots” to create innovative business
solutions. In 2007, Nov was selected as the winner of the prestigious IHRIM Summit
Award, given to individuals who have made significant, long-term contributions to the
advancement of IHRIM’s mission, goals, and the industry. He is often asked to present to
audiences and is quoted in many articles on the state of the HR Technology industry.

May Speck, SPHR, is the Senior Vice President
of Human Resources, WageWorks, Inc. In this
role, May leads initiatives to ensure that Wage-
Works, Inc. builds and sustains a world-class,
talent-based, service organization. May is a
proven leader with a solid track record of human
resources leadership in driving change management through value-added enabling
processes within HR and across the organization. Before joining WageWorks, May
was the Director of Global Human Resources at Zilog Inc., where she was respon-
sible for the entire company’s domestic and international human resource function.
May holds a Master’s of Science in Human Resources from Loyola University Chi-
cago and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.

IGNAFFO

Michael Ignaffo is currently Director of
Organizational Effectiveness at GoPro, a digital
action camera company that specializes in point-
of-view action footage and the compelling videos
captured. With nearly 20 years of professional
experience, Mike has demonstrated capability
in Engineering, Sales, Human Resources,
Media, and Business Development in Automotive, Hi-Tech, and Film industries.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from
Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Michigan, and has worked for
Ingersoll-Rand, Timken, Cisco, Apple, and GoPro, as well as a couple of smaller
ventures. Mike enjoys tackling new problems head on, and revisiting standing
solutions using a clean sheet approach and newly-surfaced tools.
