Fall 2015
from the executive director
After 40 years as manager of Mulberry-Fairplains Water
Association, I have decided to retire. Due to my official
retirement, I am resigning as a director of NCRWA.
I have personally benefited greatly from my association with
NCRWA as has Mulberry-Fairplains Water Association. It
has been my privilege to serve on the board with many fine
people. It has been exciting to see our great organization grow
through the years and see the tremendous service it provides
to both small and rural water systems across our state.
My wife, Betty, and I have met many wonderful people and
made lifelong friendships from being part of the NC Rural
Water Family. I am proud to have been a part of such a
fine organization and will miss serving as a director. I wish
you continued success in the years ahead and know you will
continue to accomplish great things for our industry.
Sincerely,
Ron McGrady
NCRWA recognized Mr. McGrady with his wife Betty by his side at
a special banquet held in his honor at the 2015 Leadership Summit.
Rural Water will forever be indebted to the visionary leadership of
Ron and other Directors, who gave of themselves to build NCRWA
into the Association it is today.
Sincerely,
Daniel Wilson, PE, CAE, UMC
Executive Director, NCRWA
