C Building Group was November’s Las Vegas Safe Site
Award winner for the Miracle Mile Shops: Façade Remodel.
This project is a complete remodel to the existing façade of
the main and valet entries to Miracle Mile Shops, Harmon Avenue
entrance. The finished façade will be a combination of EIFS and
Aluminum Composite Metal Panels including new illuminated
signage. New valet lane improvements to the landscape, hardscape,
and lighting will be the finishing touches to this project. Ted Tetreault
was the project manager, and Larry Cole was the superintendent.
The project started in October of 2015 and is expected to be
completed by April 2016. The total man-hours worked (to date) are
1,800, and the peak workforce is 18 with no lost time injuries. DC
Building Group was able to achieve and promote a more consistent,
efficient, and safe working environment not just for this project but
for the whole industry.

oyd Martin Construction, LLC was October’s Las Vegas Safe Site Award winner for their new construction of the Las Vegas Day
School (LVDS) Gymnasium & Sports Field. This 16,165-square-foot gymnasium has state-of-the-art wood basketball flooring
systems, poured in place terrazzo flooring with logos, and UBU Series synthetic turf field system with running track. LVDS is home
to 850 students and 150 faculty and staff. Ryan Low was the project manager, and Anthony Harris was the project superintendent. This
new construction started in October 2015 and is expected to be complete by March 2016. The peak workforce is 75 with no lost time
injuries. Boyd Martin Constructions understands that in a high hazard industry like construction, safety is a priority. It starts well before
ground is broken, and it should be a part of every employee’s job every day.
