ettendorf Home Repair is a full service remodeling and repair
company with its main offices located in Bettendorf, Iowa. We
have been repairing and remodeling our neighbor’s homes for
well over the past decade. We have built our reputation by providing
professional, courteous, and high quality work. “Remodeling Homes
– Building Relationships!!” is more than just a slogan, it is the way we
approach every facet of our business.
It’s hard to believe another year has already passed. 2013 was an
extremely eventful year for the folks at Bettendorf Home Repair and
Remodeling. The year started as normal with early year additions and
complete kitchen and bathroom remodels. We completed over 40
remodels in the first four months of the year and started picking up
steam towards May.
In response to our customer’s requests, we have pioneered a new
system of dust control. Negative pressure boothing allows a small
area of a house to be completely sealed from any other area. A vent
fan with exhaust trunks is placed so that air is drawn into the boothed
off space – eliminating dust migration to other parts of the house. Any
dust created in the area is vented through a filter and ultimately to the
outside of the home. We are constantly on the look out to improve
our services. We see negative pressure boothing as the next step for
improvement of interior remodeling.
In August we were hit hard when a neighbor’s facility caught fire
and spread to our place of business. I would like to personally
take this opportunity to thank the many people who expressed
their thoughts and well wishes as we worked through the fire and
its aftermath. I would especially like to send out a very heartfelt
“Thank you” to all the members of the Quad Cities Builders and
Remodelers Association for their support as we worked through this
difficult time.
The support and camaraderie of the members is one of the most
valuable benefits of membership. In our case, a faulty news story was
running that added insult to injury from the fire. We had nothing to
do with the fire, but the way the story was presented, someone who
did not know us could have assumed that we did. As soon as the story
hit the air, my phone started ringing with people concerned about
the possible damage to our reputation. Those people then called the
television station to complain about the report and were directly
responsible for pressuring the news station into retracting their story.
If not for the help of all the members who called on our behalf, that
news story could have been very detrimental to our business. Thanks
again for the efforts you all made on our behalf.
We have made a transition to a new building and we are currently
preparing to open our new design center at 3050 State Street in
Bettendorf. We anticipate the grand opening to be held towards the
end of May. Everyone is invited to come out and see the new center
and our design offerings.
We are excited about 2014 and the possibilities it brings. We hope
to be of service to many of you and we hope to develop lifelong
friendships along the way.
