Quad Cities Builders & Remodelers Association — Spring 2014
Ever wonder why all major sports and convention arenas now
bear the name of mega corporations? National and community
events share the spotlight with co-sponsors because the popularity
of the event elevates and enhances awareness of the sponsor; i.e.
I-Wireless Center & Quad City Times Bix 7, Mel Foster Color the
Quads, etc.
As events gain in size and popularity, participants and spectators
alike begin to identify with the character and good will of the
company or organization that sponsors the event.
Being recognized as a good citizen is ultimately more memorable
than being recognized as a good builder/remodeler, vendor, or
merchant. Cross marketing and public relations broadens your
business’ base of awareness.
In 2014, lets make our Quad City communities aware of what we
already know. Our QCBR Association members are collectively
and individually a caring charitable group of businesses interested
in promoting all that is good, fun, and rewarding about the QC
USA. So, if you discover a charity, an event, or even a parade worth
marching in, contact your QCBR Association office and let’s rally
our membership to support a cause.
Better yet, let’s create an event of our own. One suggestion might be
a run for the homeless, raising awareness and raising funds as seed
money to construct basic shelters to house our neighbors in need.
Let your imagination be endless with ideas!
