Summer 2015
feature
he 2015 clay shoot was a great event again this year
with 46 participants. We had four ladies come out
and shoot this year. The day was sunny and a little
on the warm side, but that is always better than rain.
I want to thank all of the sponsors for this event.
The top guns for the day were as follows:
Steve Wilson – High over all
Paul Hammer – Runner up
Pam Baughman – Ladies Champion
Johnny Spencer – 1
st
Lewis Class
Bart Farmer – 2
nd
Lewis Class
Jerry Byerly – 3
rd
Lewis Class
Mack McDonald – Sportsman Award
Steve and Paul had the same score for the day so
we used the longest run to determine the winner.
We started at station one and Steve didn’t miss
a target for the first three stations. For Lewis
Class we take out the winners’ scores and move
down by 10 targets to determine these awards.
The sportsman award is given to a person that
whether they are a first time shooter or may be
facing health issues are still willing to come
out and participate. Mack McDonald has been
facing some serious health issues and still came
out and participated in this year’s shoot.
Thanks again to all of our sponsors and everyone
that came out; I look forward to seeing everyone
at next year’s event.
